Now, before I tell you anything let me disclose right up front that what is being presented here has to do with traffic exchanges and other such programs that include as an integral part of their inherent process, the fact that they are in essence, affiliate programs.
What is an affiliate program? This means that if you click a link of any programs that are found on this website I (the creator of this website), will receive benefits of some kind if you decide to join the program that you have selected. These benefits could be in the form of credits or commissions, monetary or otherwise.
The latest FCC regulations require any such site to blatantly disclose this which I am doing right up front here. These links are also known as ads or advertisements which is plain to see by all but the most feeble minded. Companies can place million dollar ads on your television sets selling various products and at the end have small print so tiny that flashes so quickly on the screen that no human can possibly be able to read, and this is ok. But, if an online marketer shows you an advertisement (that is clearly an advertisement), we have to bend over backwards in order to make sure that you know these are ads. So yes, these are ads. Not only are there ads on here but this is the very nature of the subject known on this website as the "solution" or "solution to online boredom".

So here are 2 questions: 1. Are you able to go to a website? 2. Are you able to perform the function (copy and paste)? Don't laugh or think that I am being condescending, as there are thousands of people unable to perform these 2 simple tasks on the computer. If you are one of these people unable to perform these simple computing tasks then please move on to a different website right now as what will be next discussed will prove to be an impossibility for you.
I will now briefly describe traffic exchanges, mailers, and tae's. A traffic exchange is exactly what the name implies. You Insert your advertisements into the traffic exchange, normally in the form of full page ads, banner ads, and text ads. You then view other people's advertisements thereby earning credits to show more of your ads. Normally, you can also purchase ads rather than having to view them if you prefer. There are also, in most cases, a timer and (matching graphics) that you must click on in order to earn your credits. And, you must click correctly or you will not earn your credits.
A mailer is similar in the manner in which you view ads to a traffic exchange, meaning a timer and matching icons are normally involved. However, the nature of the mailer is inherently different. In a mailer, you actually receive the advertisements in your email whereby, you must click them individually from within the email. This is a much better way to display your full page ads due to the fact that they are viewed in a more individual basis and more attention can be assumed by the viewer of the ad.
The third advertising resource being discussed is what is know as a tae. A tae is the abbreviated form for text ad exchange. It is much more common to see the abbreviated form. A tae is basically a combination of the traffic exchanges and mailers but usually involves much more as far as additional advertising resources. Also, these are known for giving you huge advertising packs as an incentive for signing up. There are thousands and perhaps millions of these types of websites on the internet. Some do not show the member count when you are deciding on joining the site, and others do. You will find some of these sites with memberships as low as 5 or 7 people and others with thousands of members. Keep this in mind when joining them. If they do not disclose the member count up front or they have a very low member count then not many people may see your ads. Only that may not be entirely true. There are these things called solo ads. Sometimes they are referred to as extreme solo ads and so forth. A lot of times in these text ad exchanges they are part of larger ad networks. You can earn credits or pay a small amount (usually around five dollars), to send a solo ad to a large network of sites, sometimes going out to hundreds of thousands of members. A solo ad is basically a "full page" email advertisement that you would send out. So, in this respect, let's say that you join a site with only 7 members, you still might be able to reach hundreds of thousands of people through an extreme solo ad within that particular site. Look carefully through the main offer for the tae as they will usually have such things listed there so that you are well aware of the benefits of using that particular website.

Now that you have a basic understanding of traffic exchanges, mailers, and tae's, we can move on to the next point of discussion. What you are going to advertise. If you are a beginner and all of this information is brand new to you, you might be thinking, "what am I going to be advertising?". This is a natural question, but one that you will not have for long. In fact, once you begin on this journey you will have so many programs and opportunities available that your new question will be "which ones am I not going to be promoting?". As you enter all of these different advertising venues you will be presented with a plethora of different programs all requesting your attention and attempting to entice you. You can join as many or few as you wish. The most logical solution is to focus on 1 program at a time and devote as much of your time and energy to promoting that one program as possible.
What are downlines? When you join a program, for instance a traffic exchange, you will normally find something inside called a downline builder. This is normally a large collection of other traffic exchanges that the te owner has selected as their preferred traffic exchanges to use. What you want to have as one of your goals is to build your downlines in multiple traffic exchanges and other programs. You will reap more benefits with more people in your downlines. Most of these have different membership levels available. Almost all of them have a Free membership available so that you can test them out first, but you gain multiple additional benefits by being an upgraded member. Some of these benefits can be a larger percentage of credits or commissions. Where it gets a bit tricky is something called an OTO. OTO stands for One Time Offer. Most of the time as soon as you join any of the above mentioned programs you will be presented with an OTO. This is normally a generous upgrade offer that you will only see one time, as the name implies. The general rule is that if you can afford to upgrade then you should because you will earn more benefits by being an upgraded member. However, when you are presented with the offer is at a point where you have never used this sites services before so you are unaware if the site is good or not. This can be a gamble depending on the offer and whether the site ends up being a good advertising source for you or not. There is something else even better called a LifeTime Offer. With a Lifetime Offer you are presented with one price to pay (at a reduced cost) and then you are an upgraded member for life. I prefer the lifetime offer if I can get a good deal on one because you pay once and you are done rather than having to pay a monthly fee.
